esd^® - eSchoolData is a division of Contemporary Computer Services, Inc. (CCSI), a privately held company founded in 1974. Drawing from its deep roots as a mainframe services company, CCSI successfully developed the esd^® enterprise grade, web-based student management system. Designed from the onset as an ASP, hosted solution, eSchoolData is the most mature, secure, web-based student management system on the market. An easy-to-use, system that's comprehensive, State Compliant, local and so reliable it¹s being utilized by school districts throughout New York.

The software developed by eSchoolData was funded, in part, by a study conducted through the US Department of Education utilizing a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Grant. The purpose of the study was to explore the feasibility of designing a new breed of information management systems that would eliminate the need for school districts to compile complex reports to meet State and Federal reporting mandates.

eSchoolData offers the stability and scalability of a mainframe system.

Incidentally, the eSchoolData system was developed prior to the enactment of No Child Left Behind (NCLB); however, all required data elements are intelligently embedded in accordance with the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) design standards. As a result, just as originally intended, eSchoolData automatically produces complex reports in accordance with NCLB and State requirements.

Even though, in many cases, training is provided by regional BOCES centers, the esd^® staff is always available to assist users at a moments notice. Experienced and certified trainers, programmers, technicians, and customer service representatives stand ready to answer questions and provide updates when needed.
